Born in Glenview, IL in 1961, Matt has had a successful career as a businessman and entrepreneur for over 25 years. In 1983, Matt graduated from St Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana. He started his career at the Board of Trade in Chicago, IL and since then he has ventured out onto many different paths.
Matt was successful in the restaurant business owning various restaurants in Chicago, Wisconsin and Florida. He has also been very successful in land developing. Starting out in Wisconsin, he has created some beautiful properties and is very proud of the latest mountain community in Northwestern North Carolina, Old Oaks Estates.
Matt enjoys his time with his family, his wife Karen, and his two children Robert and Shannon.

Born in Staunton, Virginia in 1960, Larry has had a successful career as a CPA, businessman and entrepreneur for over 25 years. In 1983, Larry received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida Warrington School of Business & Fisher School of Accounting. He also earned his Masters Degree in Finance and Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. In 1994, he established Lawrence N. Legg, CPA, PA, Certified Public Accountants & Business Consultants, in Hollywood, Florida.
Larry also serves as Chief Operating Officer and General Partner of E.T. Legg & Associates, Ltd. - a commercial investment and asset management company that owns and operates farmland and commercial income properties in North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Missouri, Connecticut, Nevada and California. This, year, E.T. Legg & Associates forged a partnership with KM Partners in the Old Oaks Estates development. The staff and partners at E.T. Legg are proud to be active principals in KM Properties, Ltd. and partners with the Schulte family.
Larry is an active member of the Hollywood, Florida Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as Treasurer and board member of the Broward County Florida YMCA; and, he serves as a board member of the Hollywood, Florida Rotary Club.
Larry enjoys fishing, cycling, hiking, cooking, investments and his family.

Born in LaGrange, IL in 1966, Karen has had a successful career as a businesswoman and entrepreneur for over 23 years. In 1988 Karen graduated from the Business School of Indiana University. She started her career working in pharmaceutical sales and has since ventured out onto many different paths. Karen owned and operated a coffee shop/bakery in Wisconsin and has ownership of numerous other restaurant establishments. Karen has also been a viable part in land developing with her husband Matthew. They have been very successful starting up in Wisconsin, Chicago, and now their latest mountain community in Northwestern North Carolina, Old Oaks Estates.
Karen loves spending time with her husband Matthew and their two kids, Robert and Shannon.
